Liz Joachim, Wholesale Owner at Corso, Inc., Recognized by Global Who's Who for Outstanding Achievements in Business and Community Service

Biloxi, Mississippi- Global Who's Who is proud to announce that Liz Joachim has been named as an honoree in the prestigious publication for her achievements in business and community service.
Ms. Joachim received an Associate in Business from Gulf Park College and has been a Wholesale Owner at Corso, Inc. for many years. Corso, Inc. was started by her father 98 years ago and the family-owned business is still going strong today. Liz's daughter runs the micro markets, store, casinos, and school, while her middle son handles computers, cell phones, and radio. Her other son buys wholesale products and manages the trucks. Corso, Inc. is known for selling a variety of products including cigarettes, tobacco, candy, drinks, sandwich meals, cookies, pens, and pencils.
In addition to her successful career, Liz is an active member of her community. She serves on the Peoples Bank Board and is a Board Member of the Tulane Gulf Coast University, Merit Health Biloxi, Biloxi First, Gulf Coast Carnival Association, Ohr O’Keefe Museum, Salvation Army, and Gulf Coast Business Council Masters Program and Legislative Committees.
Ms. Joachim's contributions to the community have been recognized with numerous awards, including the 1996 Biloxi Outstanding Citizen, 1985 First Lady of Biloxi, 1986 Biloxi Mother of the Year, 1998 Keys to the City of Biloxi, 1993 American Tobacco Company First Lady Award, The Sun Herald South Mississippi’s Outstanding Community Leaders, Class of 2010, Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Pat Santucci Sprit of the Gulf Coast Award, American Red Cross, in 2016, Humanitarian of the Year, and the MGCCC Sam Owen Award in 2019 Homecoming Honoree. In her free time, she enjoys walking.
